On Saturday, April 29, at 11 am an exceptional guide, Archaeologist Simone Porta,
will lead you to the discovery of the archaeological collection of the MAS.
Terracotta vases and sculptures of Greek-Roman and Etruscan origin, pottery from China and South America
are all part of the archaeological collection on display.
An exhibition defined by the Italian Ministry for Cultural and Environmental Heritage as a
“Collection of Outstanding Historical and Cultural Interest” (Decree of 5 May 1997).

A unique experience of its kind to learn how to recognise the authenticity of art materials.
A tour led by the Director of MAS, Peter Matthaes, with a detailed insight into ivory, amber and their counterfeiting.
