Tropical forests and perennial snow, great ethnic and cultural diversity, Nepal is a land rich in contrasts where one of the most refined civilizations of Asia flourished. Here Hinduism and Buddhism developed one within the other, affecting the life and customs of the ancient people of the newar, autochthonous inhabitants of the Valley of Nepal.
On Thursday 6th March, at 6.30 pm, the Museum of Art and Science and the Association of Friends of the Museum invite you to the conference “The lake, the sword and the stupa. The origins of Nepalese civilization”, by Dr. Alessandro Boesi.
The cost of the evening is € 6,00. For information and reservations you contact the Museum at the number 02 72022488, or you send an e-mail to info@museoartescienza.com
